A new production conceived, adapted and directed by Sally Kirkham The set is minimalist but the costumes bright, and Sally Kirkham's new adaptation keeps clear focus on the story and provides its key characters with a lively script, much of it in rhyming verse. The pantomime element is supplied in abundance by the wicked Stepmother and Ugly Sisters, Della and Bella. Excellent 'slapstick' cake-baking sequence
