I'm Jacki Evans

Originally
from Worthing in Sussex, I moved to Dolgellau 21 years
ago.
I
have brought up three children here, and I work as a
dispenser in the local chemists.
I
have always loved the theatre, but apart from a couple
of roles in school plays, I'd never had the nerve, or
the opportunity to be anything more than a member of
the audience. Then, quite by chance, I was lucky enough
to become involved with Theatr Fach's production of
|
| Ladies in Retirement in May 2011.
I
played Lucy, the maid. I met some lovely people, and
I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it, from the fun
and laughs we had during rehearsals, to the paralysing
fear of opening night!
It
has certainly left me hungry for more. Recently, I was
honoured to be asked to sit on the Theatre's committee,
and I look forward to a long and happy involvement,
both on the stage, and behind the scenes!
